Understanding the SHL’s G+ Verify Test
The G+ Verify Test is a compact cognitive assessment lasting 36 minutes (max). The test is offered in both Multiple Choice and Adaptive formats ( suitable for mobile phones). It comprises 30 questions, evenly split into 10 Numerical, 10 Deductive, and 10 Inductive reasoning tasks, assessing mathematical problem-solving, logical reasoning, and pattern recognition abilities, respectively.
Abilities Measured by the G+ Test
Numerical Ability
Numerical ability refers to the capacity to understand, interpret, and logically reason out problems that involve numerical data. It’s a crucial ability as it is often used to make correct decisions or inferences from numerical or statistical data in a multitude of job roles.
Questions in this section involve:
- Tables & graphs
- Rates & proportion
- Calculation with operations
- Number series
- Ratio
- Currency exchange
The interactive version of the test includes all of the above topics, except the Number series, which is not included in the traditional multiple-choice (non-interactive) format.
