You must complete the exam within 72 hours of receiving the first invitation. If you don't complete it in time, you'll be removed from consideration for that position. This is why proper preparation before applying is crucial.
The minimum passing score is 70%, but this only makes you eligible for consideration. In competitive areas, you'll want to score much higher to stand out from other candidates. Our course is designed to help you maximize your score, not just barely pass.
If you score below 70%, you'll receive an "ineligible" status and will not be considered for the position you applied for, or for any other positions requiring the 474 exam. You must wait a full 12 months before you can retake the exam.
If you fail, you must wait 12 months before retaking the 474 exam. Even if you pass but want to improve your score, you must wait 24 months. This is why proper preparation with USPS 474 Quickpass™ is so important—you only get one shot per year.
